3D Wooden Two-Wing Aircraft Puzzle

This one was fun to build. I decorated mine (which I never do), and I had fun doing that too. It works so well I love how functional it is!

Really nice box! A bit smaller than I tought but was really fun to build and really good quality. I have used my woodworking soft beeswax instead of the candle wax they provide... I did not like it since it is hard to get all pieces waxed and doing more crumble than I like. Once well waxed it is awesome and opens like a charm. Somewhat hard to remove pieces from board , then used exacto to carefully remove pieces from board.

The assembly is not so trivial, there are some very delicate parts. Follow the instructions carefully, especially regarding cutting the elastic bands. With QR codes there are short videos that help. It can be assembled in a short time and is very beautiful. I liked it a lot: I built five on behalf of friends who liked the first one.

My wife purchased this airplane for me as a gift because she knew I love puzzles. At first, I was skeptical of how well the pieces would punch out and how they would assemble without glue. I was blown away!! The quality of the product seems to be top notch. It helped to take a small razor blade along the piece outlines prior to punching them out, but I had no issues with the wood tearing out or chipping. The pieces are a tight fit but the provided wax helps and it leads to a very sturdy build. I got to the end of the build and realized that the set included a spare parts sheet of some of the pieces that were most difficult to assemble. The foresight to include duplicates of those pieces most likely to be broken speaks to the thought this company has for providing a great experience! Can’t wait to buy more sets as this kept both of us entertained for a week when working on it in the evenings!

My dad starting doing these wooden models as a hobby. We weren’t too sure how good this one was going to be but it turns out it was even nicer in person.

Makes a great last minute gift in a pinch, especially for those hard to shop for people. I have liked every wood trick product I've bought. They are challenging enough to keep me entertained and look cool when completed. Tight fitting parts so, as I've said in every Wood trick review, go slow, sand sand sand and wax liberally. Don't force pieces or they will break. Sand a little, wax a lot and go slow. My only complaint is not enough wax and sandpaper. I've fixed this by buying a package of 220 grit wet dry sandpaper and a box of paraffin wax.
