The product have great quality and the finished product is excellent. However, the gears need to be lubricated and they only give you some low quality wax that barely work. You need to wax everything really good for it to work. I broke a few minor pieces while taking it apart to lube but overall no problem. I would recommend.

This is a beautiful clock, a little challenging to put together but the finished product is well worth it. I like the fact that the clock itself is battery operated so I don’t have to keep winding it. The pendulum and timer works off of a wound spring. The pendulum will operate about an hour on a full wind and has a great old fashioned, classic tic-tic sound. This is a great gift for anyone who likes to tinker and put things together.

 So I got this for my husband and I as a fun little weekend project. We had the idea to use some woodstain on it because it’s an owl and the general colors of woodstain are that of most owls. We stained both sides of all five of the panels prior to beginning to assemble it and let it dry for a day. We think it came out looking pretty great, but you can judge for yourselves.

This one of those things you don't want to be easy, and it's not. I would (and most likely will) something similar in the future. The one thing I wasn't impressed with was it kept falling between steps. So glued it together, just be careful with the glue, don't ask. It was a fun and absorbing challenge.

This was our first build of this type. Instructions were pretty well done but we also referred to youtube videos that helped as well. Make sire and lube everything very well!! The small piece of wax that comes with the kit is not enough. We bought some extra beeswax lubricant on Amazon. Once done it a beautiful decoration and works well so far. It was kind of sticky at first, but once we ran it through a couple of timer sessions, it loosened up and works great! If it still stick once in a while, you can purchase a wax toilet ring and take a toothpick and wax the gears with that and it really greases things up!!

My grandfather is a model building enthusiast. I bought this for him, and he loved it! He said he has never had such an amazing experience with any other brands out there. He also said the pieces are so perfectly laser cut that everything fits perfectly! I will be purchasing more of this brand!!! Great job and thank you!!!!

I wanted a gift that would take time to assemble so the person receiving the gift would truly appreciate the clock that they had put together not just some random machine. It is a challenge but at the end you know that you put it together and created it.

My first wooden 3d puzzle to build. It’s very relaxing and a bit challenging. But, a Finished product looks really nice especially the moving gears and the pendulum. The clock is independent of the timer so even when the gears are not moving, the clock still shows fairly accurate time. At times the pendulum and gears will stop moving, but a light tap on the gear will start it again. The timer alarm mechanism need some improvement.The only real problem I had was getting the 4mm brass screws started in the angle brackets on the underside.
I DO wish they would have included a 5 Volt, 2 Amp P.S. with it. Until I find a suitable PS, I'll have to use one of the USB ports on my laptop. (Video- I could only use one hand. The other was holding the phone).
