Piano Music Box Set - Adult 3D Wooden Puzzle with Mechanical Building Blocks

I love these Rokr or Robotime kits, have done a few now and they are really well thought out. They can be a bit fiddly but that's what makes them fun and accomplished. Good quality wood, laser cut so hardly need any sanding. Some come with wooden Jig tools to assist in the delicate build that can be used on other kits. Need a few more designs as nearly done them all!

Really enjoyed putting the bits together. The push fitting means that no gluing is required. The pieces are precision cut and easy to remove using a small tool.

Some bits were a bit fiddly to put together and had to be careful to not snap the lugs, but there are plenty of spare pieces. In the end only had to use two of the spares.

Need to take it slowly and ensure that the pieces are the right way around. Despite this, did end up having to reassemble some pieces.

This is a beautiful model when assembled but very trick to get the musical mechanism to work properly. It was a Xmas gift for a very meticulous 16 yr old. She spent 2 days trying to get it to work but found one part a bit off centre which made it very tricky to get the music box to play. The finished model is beautiful but deducted one star because it does not play properly.

Such an incredible puzzle game with an amazing finish. It has taken few hours to built it ( there is loads of little pieces) although the process was pleasant and enjoyable.
When you finish with all the pieces you have got a beautiful small piano that plays music! What else could you want.

This is the second time that I have been given a 3D puzzle from ThinkPuzzles. And I am absolutely delighted!
- Great instructions. They are in English, but still understandable and have good step-by-step illustrations.
- Very well packaged
- Lots of small/fragile parts are there in multiples, so that even if you make a mistake, the whole puzzle is not wasted
- High quality and a lot of attention to detail
- Very well thought out, everything was taken into account during development
- screwdriver, wax, sandpaper,... everything you need is included

. It took me about 6-7 hours. Afterwards you have a beautiful decoration that can also play a melody and move the keys. The price/performance ratio is definitely good and I can recommend it without reservation.

I tried my hand at making instruments and was delighted by the precision of the parts. It's simply brilliant how precisely the internal gears are tuned! The body was put together perfectly with just a little bit of dexterity. It holds 99% of the time without glue.
The end result is now at eye level and I'm just wondering where I'm going to put this dust collector :-)

I was a little scared to buy it at first because everyone kept saying it was difficult to assemble and that they wouldn't recommend it to people who have no experience with building something like this. But I decided to give it a try since I was in love with this piano. It was easy to assemble and the instructions were very clear. Everything came well organized, nothing was broken or out of place. I would recommend this to anyone, even if it's their very first build.

I will say that if you want it to turn out great sand the corners of the piece cut outs and spend time making sure the gears are turning properly. Also be gentle when putting the pieces together, sometimes you have to really work with them and generally set them in place.

It will definitely take 5+ hours to assemble (take your time) but the outcome is just beautiful, elegant, and surprisingly very sturdy and quite big in size. All in all this kit is a 10/10 must buy/build for me.

Really enjoyed putting this model together. Since this was the first i diidn't realize that the actions shown on video don't necessarily happen. Like the piano lid closing after the song. Other than that. It was perfect and the building guide tools were a bonus. Im hooked to build more. P.S. The cat is cute.

 This was so much fun! It went together very easily and I love all the features of the piano: the multi-toned wood, the candlestick, the little kitten, the moveable parts, everything. I did break one piece assembling it (the instructions marked that this piece was easily broken), and a spare piece was already provided, so no issue there. I’ll definitely be buying more products from them. I’m excited to build a bunch of these!

 This is a beautiful piece and honestly I'm surprised in myself for having the patience to actually put it together.
Although the finished product isn't perfect. The one gear needs some adjusting still but overall not to bad.
You hafta really take your time with the gearing and the piano keys to make sure everything lines up perfectly. When I say patience I mean alot of patience. I think I spent more time doing it over and over and adjusting the rods and such than anything. It was well worth it though and I think I may try some of the others they

I was so excited to put this together and I was not disappointed!

First of all - this is definitely not for kids. Even with supervision, it's still a bit advanced. Secondly - you really have to be careful with the strentgh you apply to the wooden parts so that you don't break them. They're not extremely fragile, however, they do require a good control over the strength you have in your hands that kids might not have developed yet. Good news - some of the more fragile parts do have "spare copy" included.

It took me about 5 hours (without breaks) to put this together and the result is so beautiful!
