3D Wooden Puzzle Classic City Tram

Everything went together easily. Instructions are good. I decided to add some color accents which sets it off nicely, but you have to plan out very carefully if you decide to do this.

This set is Amazing in detail! I mean for every single piece in this set! The quality of the pieces is exact and durable. You even have to wax the moving parts so they interact & work fluently! It is fun & exciting to assemble this set! It will make you think as your doing it because you want to make sure your getting it right! The instructions are very in depth and well written! (A rarity these days) The pieces are machine milled to perfection with very little points of connection that need to be filed to ensure fluid rotation. The quality of the metal parts is very good also! Nothing cheap about this set!

This is an incredibly well developed puzzle with great directions. I think the critical things worth noting alignment and firmness, you definitely need to put some oomph into some placements and have alignments really spot on for finishing some sections. Make sure if pieces are directly labelled on themselves or on the pull outs in case you forget to look. The included tool works mostly when needed. I am definitely grateful for the included sand paper and wax. This thing looks amazing, moves well and is worth the effort!

This Wooden trolly puzzle is difficult to build and not meant for kids to young, but it is also extremely rewarding. Something that blew me away was how the gears and mechanism actually works together to make a functioning trolly. You are able to wind it up and have it zoom like those old toy cars. The material was very nice and the instructions are easy to follow. Overall this is a really fun experience and is worth it to buy, either as a gift or for yourself

I think these wood puzzle/models are either something you love or hate, but the ThinkPuzzles has been consistently good for me. I've done about a half dozen of these so far, with just one failure that I could not repair (was a combination lock on a puzzle box). thinkpuzzles will alway work with you on missing or defective parts, but shipping can take a good while. I think this street car looks great and it works like it should. It calls for more parts waxing than the average model, but only inlcudes a couple wax pieces, so be aware.

I always have a great time putting together all my projects. Have completed more than 20.

This is a really nice designed model by think puzzles. I have assembled almost every wooden 3d models thinkpuzzles has available. I really like the spring assembly in this model. It's the easiest setup of any of their previous models. A lot of extra pieces, especially the small pieces that tend to break when taking off boards. Rolls nicely on hidden wheels, when not on track.

Great model set. I had a great time putting this set together over the course of a few nights after work.Very well thought through design with pre-planning for spare parts in areas that may end up having damage due to precise/complex cuts.I ended up only breaking 1 component which ended up not having a spare. I was able to repair the component with some glue, so no biggie.Assembly was pretty straight forward and easy to understand.

I've built a few dozen wooden puzzles over the past year. Often from the same manufacturer "ThinkPuzzles".This was a fun build!Kit features.The instructions listed parts needed for each step.The numbers where also listed on most of the parts.The kit came with extra parts in case you break some in the process.No glue is needed for this project.Within the instructions it states ThinkPuzzles will provide free replacement of broken parts.Once built this train has several working components including...Doors that open and close.A conductor that can exit the train windowDoors that open and close.Mechanical gears that move the train without assistance.While the train car is moving the gears within the windows also move.Making this not only a fun build and great looking piece but also interactive.

I really had a lot of fun building this streetcar. I have built a dozen or so of these wooden models, but for some reason, this one gave me more joy through the building process than others. The kit consisted of eight sheets of 2mm to 4mm, knot free, birch plywood. There were 374 pieces in the construction plus another big pile of extra spare parts. The model doesn't typically require any glue, but I did use some wood glue (where it couldn't be seen) on a couple of loose joints. thinkpuzzles rates the degree of difficulty at 4 out of 5 stars and I tend to agree with that. The instructions are very concise, almost to the point of too much information. It took me about 16 hours to complete. I'm sure that someone could build it a lot quicker than I did but enjoy the process and take my time.

This is another high quality wooden puzzle from ThinkPuzzles. I have done many of the projects in the past and ThinkPuzzles has the highest quality materials, best cuts on the parts, as well as the best creative and interesting designs. Sometimes it can be helpful after the construction is complete, to follow up on certain joints with some spots of white glue, just to keep things tight and strong, especially if you continue to operate a hand crank or other moving parts.

I can honestly say that this beautiful trolley model has helped to reinspire my love of building things.This is a medium difficulty build, so if you're planning a one hour start to finish model, this isn't it. It does take 5-6 hours of careful work and attention to detail.The finished product is worth the time involved. As it is made of all wood, it technically can be painted, but in my opinion the raw build turns out awesome all by itself, and I fear that paint would only detract from an already great model.I would highly recommend this model for an older teenager to adult as it is quite intricate, but a younger child would have fun with it as well with adult help a few times along the way. I'm looking forward to ordering more from this company and expanding my model collection. 5 stars!
