Handmade Bicycle Wooden Assembly

I'm really looking forward to putting this awesome puzzle together. Even though the packaging calls it a, "Father and Daughter" puzzle, I'll be painting and sanding it (in the right areas -smile-) to make it become a, "Mother and Daughter' puzzle.
I'll try to remember to update this review, after this bicycle kit is completed.
For now, I can tell you that it arrived safely, all parts to complete the project were included, and it's made of a good quality wood for these types of projects. I'm eagerly looking forward to working on this one. It really does look fun!!

Take your time and enjoy the process.
The process can be just as fun as the final product!
The illustrated instructions are large and quite good. Since the written directions are not in English, I used the QR code (found in the instructions) to make sure I (visually) understood each step before proceeding.
I used acrylic paints to paint most of the parts, while I was assembling the kit. I did make sure the paints weren't too thin & watered down, to prevent possible warping from the moisture (and, thankfully, no warping occured).
Little 2 fl oz bottles of acrylic craft paint worked well for painting the wood.
This kit comes with 24+ extra parts, just in case of any breakage. BUT, none were needed, since the laser cuts were well done and the parts popped out easily.
Make sure to sand and wax in the designated areas and test along the way. Wax and sandpaper are included. But, I did use more sandpaper than the kit provides.
This kit went together nicely and works wonderfully, without needing any glue. If you choose to use glue, please keep in mind that (in years to come) the rubber band will age and will need to be replaced. So, make sure NOT TO glue any parts that will prevent you from exchanging the rubber band. There's nothing wrong with the included rubber band. In fact, it does a great job of smoothly turning the gears, but all rubber bands will eventually age.
While turning the hand crank, all of gears below the platform, along with the tires, and the pedals, rotate. That rotation causes the adult's legs to move up and down. One leg moves up, while the other leg moves downward, in rotation.
It REALLY IS enjoyable and relaxing to turn the crank and watch all of the movement and spinning parts with this kit!!

I ordered another one because my grandson's are going to try and put it together with Grandpa. They saw how he did his first one. And they want to give it a try, loved it

** FUTURE PLANS: In a fews days, I'll be attaching a wooden box base. The box base will be larger than the kit's base, so I can drill small holes in the top of the base. I'll add fairy lights inside of the wooden base, in order to illuminate the bicycle from below. The last step will be securing a music box in the base, with the metal crank extended to the outside of the base for accessibility.
