Jewelry Box 3D Puzzle Gift

This one was fun to build. I decorated mine (which I never do), and I had fun doing that too. It works so well I love how functional it is!

Really nice box! A bit smaller than I tought but was really fun to build and really good quality. I have used my woodworking soft beeswax instead of the candle wax they provide... I did not like it since it is hard to get all pieces waxed and doing more crumble than I like. Once well waxed it is awesome and opens like a charm. Somewhat hard to remove pieces from board , then used exacto to carefully remove pieces from board.

The assembly is not so trivial, there are some very delicate parts. Follow the instructions carefully, especially regarding cutting the elastic bands. With QR codes there are short videos that help. It can be assembled in a short time and is very beautiful. I liked it a lot: I built five on behalf of friends who liked the first one.

The assembly is a little complex but the instructions are very clear, if you follow them to the letter it works perfectly and you will have it assembled in an afternoon. The chest is very nice and more solid than it may seem and it is very enjoyable to assemble.

Nice assembly to carry out, you still have to be patient and careful to detach the elements at the risk of small pieces of plating jumping off, for the small elements there are spare parts. The box itself is very decorative, perhaps I should have done it before assembly but I will probably stain it and add a few touches of gilding in places, I will leave myself a few days of reflection before taking action because such I like her too.

All parts were precisely and cleanly cut. Before squeezing, it helps to rock the parts back and forth. This prevents splinters.
You should definitely take a lot of time for growing. I waxed all the parts very carefully and as you can see from the video, there are no snags.
There are more wax, sandpaper and rubbers than necessary. And some spare parts are also planned in case something breaks.
This definitely won't be the last model.

Makes a great last minute gift in a pinch, especially for those hard to shop for people. It was not hard to put together and I think it makes for a fun little piece to assemble once, play for a bit and then set on a bookshelf. I would recommend this.

Bought for entertainment during the holidays, my husband had a little difficulty removing certain small parts which break easily, assembly is sometimes difficult, especially for the gears. However, my husband had a great time riding it. The box is a little fragile and is not a "toy". My 9 year old daughter likes it for storing her jewelry and takes care of it. It is a beautiful decorative object.

Hello, I built this box for a birthday. I loved doing it: very solid pieces, very clear explanations with the drawings.
It took me more or less 8 hours to do it. Really beautiful: after finishing it I sent the photo to my mother who asked me to make one for Mother's Day.
